The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) and the Miss Namibia Organization hosted a meet-and-greet at Khomasdal Hyper in the capital to encourage young women aged 15 to 19 for Miss Teen Namibia and 19 and older who are eligible to compete in the upcoming Miss Namibia 2022 pageant.

Miss Namibia 2021, Chelsi Shikongo, Miss Namibia World 2021, Annerie Maré, Miss Namibia 2021 second runner-up, Michelle Mukuve and Miss Teen Namibia, Alexis Swart were present to meet and greet with the public, encourage young women to submit entry forms and hand them out on the spot.

“All it takes is patience, confidence, and someone who can stand in a leadership role because you are going to be a representative and an example to other young ladies,” Miss Teen Namibia 2021 Alexis Swart said when asked what it takes to compete.

She further encouraged her peers to enter Miss Teen Namibia 2022 and to never let anyone get in the way of their dreams.
Reigning Miss Namibia, Chelsi Shikongo urged young women to enter Miss Namibia and Miss Teen Namibia 2022 so that they may use the platform to advocate for matters that are important to them and to empower themselves as Namibian women in general.
The entry forms are available on the Miss Namibia and NBC websites as well as at all NBC offices countrywide.

Completed entry forms can be submitted to missnamibiapageant@gmail.com or missteennamibia@gmail.com as today marks the last day for submissions!
